Privacy Policy

yelger is operated by BellCyber LLC (“yelger,” “we,” “us”), a New Jersey, USA company. This policy explains what information we collect across our website, app, and the WhatsApp, Telegram, and email channels yelger is reached through, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have over it. It applies wherever you use yelger, including outside the United States.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as yelger changes. If a change is material, we will let you know by email or an in-product notice before it takes effect. The date above is when the current version became effective.

Information you give us directly

Your name, email address, and phone number when you create an account or connect a messaging channel; the contents of what you send yelger — text, voice notes, images, and the tasks, reminders, bills, and notes you ask it to keep; and anything you type into a support or feedback request. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment processor, Stripe, and are never stored on our own servers — we keep a record of the transaction (amount, date, plan) but never the card number itself.

Information we collect through your use of yelger

The messages and voice notes you send over WhatsApp, Telegram, or email, so we can respond to them. When yelger is added to a group chat, it processes messages from everyone in that group in order to do the job it was given there, not only messages from the person who added it. Content you send is passed to the AI provider handling that request — currently OpenAI or Anthropic, selected per request — under terms that prohibit those providers from using your content to train their own general-purpose models.

If you connect a third-party account — Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Notion, GitHub, WhatsApp Business, or a Model Context Protocol server you add yourself — we access the specific data from that account needed to complete the request you made (for example, searching a Drive folder you asked about, or reading an unread email you asked to be summarized). That access uses a token you can revoke at any time from Connected Apps, and revoking it ends our access immediately.

Information collected automatically

Device and browser information, IP address, pages visited, and operational events such as successful requests, response latency, and error rates. We use this to keep the service reliable and secure, and to understand which features are actually used. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.

Cookies and similar technology

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences (like whether you have dismissed the cookie notice). Page-view analytics on our website are collected without cookies and without anything that identifies you personally. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not currently respond differently to a browser’s “Do Not Track” signal because we have nothing running that it would change.

How we share information

  • AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) — process the content of a request in order to generate a response to it.
  • Stripe — processes payments; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Infrastructure providers (including our database and authentication provider, Supabase, and our hosting providers) — store and run the service on our behalf, under contracts that limit what they may do with your data.
  • A third-party app you connect — only when your own request requires it, and only for as long as that connection stays active.
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, or to investigate fraud, abuse, or a threat to someone’s safety.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

International data transfers

yelger is a US company serving households in the United States, India, and other countries. Your information may be processed in the United States and by the subprocessors listed above, which may be located in other countries. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction that requires a specific transfer mechanism, we intend to rely on that mechanism (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) once our launch footprint in that region is finalized.

Children’s privacy

yelger supports child and teen profiles, but a child never signs up for one themselves — a guardian creates and controls it from their own account, and a guardian PIN is required to switch into it. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child through a self-service signup. Verified access for profiles below the applicable minimum age in a given country remains disabled until the consent and age-assurance process required in that country is in place. A parent or guardian who wants to review, export, or delete a child profile’s data can write to support@yelger.com.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and afterward for as long as needed to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Deleting your account removes your profile data on a rolling schedule; some records (such as payment transaction history) are retained longer where required for accounting or legal reasons.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage most of this yourself from your account settings — disconnecting a connected app, deleting a reminder, changing your profile details — and for anything else, write to support@yelger.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Data security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, credentials for AI and payment providers are held server-side only, and access to household data is scoped to the account and profile it belongs to. No system is perfectly secure, and an AI agent acting on your behalf carries its own risks — including the possibility of an unintended action or a third party attempting to manipulate it through content it processes — which is why write actions (like sending a message or creating a document) ask for confirmation before they happen.

Third-party links

yelger may link to or integrate with services we do not operate. This policy does not cover their practices, and we encourage you to read their own privacy notices.

How to contact us

Questions about this policy, or a request to exercise any of the rights above, can be sent to support@yelger.com.

This policy is published ahead of a full worldwide release and does not yet reflect region-specific legal review (including US state privacy law, GDPR/UK GDPR, and India’s DPDP Act) for every country yelger may launch in. It will be updated as that review completes.
