Messaging Terms

This page covers the messages yelger sends and receives over WhatsApp, Telegram, and email. It is part of our Terms of Service.

Consent

By messaging yelger on WhatsApp or Telegram, adding it to a group chat, or connecting a channel from your account settings, you consent to receive messages from yelger on that channel. If you set up morning reminders or notifications, you separately consent to yelger messaging you first, on its own, rather than only replying to something you sent.

What you’ll receive

• A reply to every message, voice note, or task you send yelger.
• If you turn on reminders: one message a day with what is late or due, and nothing on a day when nothing is.
• Occasional account or service notices — for example, if a connected channel needs to be reconnected.

Frequency varies with how you use yelger: typically one reply per message you send, plus at most one reminder message per day if you’ve turned that on. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

How to stop

Reply STOP (or its plain-language equivalent, including in Hindi) on WhatsApp at any time, and yelger switches off for that number immediately — you will not receive any more messages there. Reply START whenever you want them back. This works the same way whether you are stopping a reminder or stopping yelger from responding to you at all on that channel.

Carriers

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers and countries may change without notice, and delivery over WhatsApp or Telegram depends on those platforms being available and your account there being in good standing.

Group chats

If yelger is added to a group, it processes messages from everyone in that group in order to do the job it was given there. Anyone in the group can ask it to leave. Whoever adds yelger to a group is responsible for making sure the other members know it is there.
